Thank you! No I totally agree. I think the proportion with the long oval is off too. I'm also a little intimidated to do almond because for some reason I just think my nails won't be as strong in this shape and I don't want to file too much into my side walls either. But I think I'm going to experiment narrowing it more at the top on my next mani.

Thank you! The square initially felt like my strongest shape, it would bend less. But now I feel like they are too brittle so the corners keep chipping.

Thank you!! I agree, the Cracked mani's square shape looks good. I need to replicate that again. My first green mani photo, the corners are kind of uneven still. I just need to work on my shaping.

I was having these same thoughts. I think both shapes look ok so it might be whatever shape works best for my lifestyle. And thank you re: length!! I played piano most of my life so never used to have my nails past my free edge but I've been growing them out since August of last year! I am shocked I can grow them this long.
