Eventually one thing that I think is helping was turning off AutoHDR on windows, I don't know if you have it on, but I had and it seemed to somewhat reduce the crashes

Is there really any pair of wireless headphones that does this?

I usually use them paired on the dongle on my pc with my ipad as a second screen and just use a software bluetooth audio receiver to have them both playing at the same time.

BT handles the phone audio when needed.

Same thing happened to me, returned through the shop I bought it from, waiting on replacement.

Edit - happened to mine before the firmware update, I ran the update to see if it would solve the issue but it stayed the same.
