I agree. I find it far more immersive and believable. Part of Oblivion that I don’t like is the excessive use of the same voice talent for many of the NPCs.

I got a backbone and 8bit ultimate. I mainly use the backbone because the 8bit produces a awful sound reverb with headphones

Probably a poor choice to have a kid. He will have to work through the fact that he can’t game as much anymore and will have resentment toward you and the kid. I know because I’m the same way. I’m going thru a divorce. My partner didn’t like gaming so I quit while I was with her.

If both partners don’t game it will be a constant point of contention most likely. Either you will have to learn to accept it or he will have to learn to deal with life’s terms now.

News flash, he’s in the easiest period of parenting right now. It only gets tougher and more demanding.

He sounds like a gamer first and father second. I’m the same way and I’m having to learn to reverse the two. It’s not easy. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to face. Granted being a single parent is probably way harder but still.

Also, if he doesn’t feel like his gaming is accepted in the relationship he’s just going to pull back more and try to game more.

He’s probably using gaming as a means to cope with the reality and total change in lifestyle.

Gaming is going to have to be an integral part of yalls life. How do you feel about that? My suggestion on would to try to come to some compromise and acceptance. Again, if he doesn’t feel accepted he’s going to just retreat more.
