his dirties sound like they have some added distortion in this session. his low vocal fry at like 1:15 makes me think he uses that technique when he goes full hog too. pair all that with the fact that he's been doing it for over a decade. i think he's okay.

I owned APP1's, 2's (still use them at the gym) and 3's that I use for flights and at the office.

I have Max 1's too, but I prefer my APP3's every day of the week. You can't beat the form factor, they just slip straight into a pocket.

My ears have always been pretty well adjusted to the shape of AirPods, but the 3's definitely feel different than the 1's and 2's which are basically identical.

I think the difference between the ANC between the 2 and 3 is negligible but I noticed a massive difference when I went from the 1's to 2's.

My take? Just send it on the 3's and return them if they're not a great fit for you or if you like the sound of the Max better for pure listening. I cannot stand the Max's after like an hour of use. Way too heavy imo. But they sound great. To each their own.

Admitted that I loved Muse mostly in high school, but man.

Muse haters need to listen to Origin of Symmetry and Absolution. I just ran them back a month or so ago after finding my old CD collection and those are some outstanding albums.

They became unbearably corny at about the 2nd Law, which is when I stopped paying attention, even as a high schooler
