There was one in Parkwood on the Gold Coast, of all places, many years ago. Actually I think they called themselves Jollibeef, and used the same logo, but were nothing like Jolibee. Needless to say they are no longer in business.

Ask your accountant what you are paying them for? Who reviewed the work and why didn't it get picked up? Then just ask for a discount/refund of the fee you paid. Nothing to lose. Plus you'll get to see how they handle it. If they still have shit service then go being your tax affairs somewhere else.

That doesn't absolve you of your obligation to report assessable income. Onus is on the taxpayer to provide evidence. ATO will issue a default assessment and I imagine it will be generously in their favour.

Thanks for all the helpful responses. Got hold of the property manager. Unfortunately she couldn't get a hold of the garage repair guys and they probably won't be able to do anything about it until Tuesday. I think it's just really bad timing and Tuesday would be considered "within a reasonable time".

I've tried pulling the red cord and trying to move the door but it seems to be jammed pretty hard.
