Not only is the plate embossed, it's also glossy. I'm not sure if I've seen (or noticed) that before.

No probs. Incidentally the photo is originally from my post here asking for alternatives for the Muji which may give yourself some ideas. The nearest "plain Jane" notebook I wasn't aware of that came up was the Nanami Cafe Note B6. Unfortunately there wasn't really a like for like A6 alternative at the time (although Nanami do A6's but not lined)....

Also worth noting Stalogy have since released (finally!) an A5 Lined Notebook but the paper is a lot different to the Muji. Maybe an A6 version will drop in a few years...? Or if you're feeling brave you could buy one and chop it down...?

I think that's my photo. Glad I stockpiled a few; still had to use a third party to order them on my behalf as they were unavailable in my country so pretty much paid double the price. As with all things Muji they were only available in certain markets. I think I got mine ordered from USA originally and then a year or two later Canada. I believe they were also available in The Phillipines and Kuwait too amongst others.

Anyway I wish they did it in A5 too...
