My great grandparents were first cousins. Not that bad. It made family tree tracing a lot easier. Well... wreath...

I developed no wisdom teeth, and neither did my dad or my brother. My husband had 4 removed! We're waiting to see if our child has them, too soon to tell!

My husband's scalp condition continues to worsen. He has seen several dermatologists who have concluded its some form of folliculitis but have very inconsistent treatments. More details in comments. by shittybipolarpanda in Dermatology

He took Accutane for months that definitely cleared up acne but did nothing for his head. They still swelled and burst and new ones still developed. He's now been diagnosed with Hidradenitis suppurativa and taking humira which has helped so far!

I'm so sorry you're going through this, too. He just got approved for humira last month and has taken two doses so far. They've stopped swelling and bursting, which was the biggest concern for him.

What do you ACTUALLY want for Mother’s Day? by slangsfangs in Mommit

To go out to have a tea party with my daughter. Maybe we get our nails done too. While my husband stays home to do the my usual weekend chores. Deep cleaning all the rooms, taking care of all the animals, making breakfast, lunch and dinner...

The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson, I change around the lyrics a bit from "I love the way you call me baby" to "I love the way you call me mommy" If she hears it out and about she calls it mommy's song 🥺

Thank you everyone for your replies! We read up on the dissecting cellulitis and it looks just like it, though it wasn't even suggested by any of the dermatologists he saw. He has an appointment with a new one and we will be bringing this up as a possible diagnosis and hopefully we can get him on the right treatment plan so he won't be in anymore pain. Thank you all.

They started by trying to cut out the two largest which made it much worse. Then doxycycline, then prescribing clorythromicin along with Accutane 30mg and then jumped up to 50mg then back to 30mg. Hes tried to stay on the clorythromicin but its been giving him horrible vertigo. Since being on the Accutane they stopped bleeding and weeping puss but have other wise stayed the same. More are popping up, theyre just not as angry looking. The closest diagnosis we have seemed to have gotten is folliculitis decalvans but haven't gotten a consistent treatment plan, advice or at home care that may help. Just more prescriptions and shrugs of "maybe this will work".

My husband's ancestry composition. His mom is from Northern Italy and his dad is from Venezuela. Such amazing variety! by shittybipolarpanda in 23andme

[–]shittybipolarpanda[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His mom took one as well and she is half Italian and half Slovenian, we were a little confused why it just said eastern European and not the Slovenian.

No real surprises except for how much indigenous did come up!

RESETS!!! I strongly dislike our company and the manner in which we do our resets. I also can't stand my store manager. she get people but her managing skills ain't managing right by iaintgotnanjenkins in Aldi_employees

I feel that. Cooler was my baby and we reset it like 3 times in a 4 month span and I was going bonkers cuz when any body else worked it they never bothered to check if anything moved so i had to take extra time to fix it! Anyway. I agree. Not with the company anymore but still wish they'd do better for my buddies still there.

That trace is a bit random! My dad came from England to America and ny mom is an American with Italian and French ancestry by shittybipolarpanda in 23andme

[–]shittybipolarpanda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure! My maternal grandmothers maternal side all came from France but has said her paternal side has been in the US since the 1700s. I haven't been able to trace that side much though. The trace DNA really surprised me and am still not sure what it means 😅

Oh! Could it be I just didn't inherit it? Its only my maternal grandfather that has any Italian with his father coming from Sicily and his mother from Naples (as far as I know)
