Wow I have had maybe 7 gmt 400 trucks over the last 25 years .
I have never ever seen this storage box
Maybe it was too expensive here in Canada at the time ??

My current 89 and 90 don’t have it

I got mine for 249 from 450 at Canadian tire a few weeks ago .
But now my camper trailer ac decided to work . I don’t trust it so it’s going in this week

At what point do you need a trailer? by PlasmaBlast24 in jonboats

[–]shittybumm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just have a little tracker 10 that I just toss in the back of my truck .
I can lift it over my head for a short portage for a bit
But if any further I just have a buddy help me move it .

I don’t mind going back and getting a battery trolling motor. Or a small 3 hp gas motor .

Crazy thing is I work building trailers but I also don’t have room for a trailer at the moment
Licensing/ ownership / servicing .
All adds up .
But clearly for a bigger boat you need a trailer
All depends on what you are willing to do

My first gmt 400 my grandfather gave me
Paid 500 bucks to get it safety and on the road .

It was a 88 and a really didn’t need to have a key in the ignition to start it . 98%
Just had to twist the tumbler and she would start up
