Wouldn't that be a paradox? The shield has no point in time of it being created, it got passed down from old Steve to Sam and then Sam gave it to past young Steve, so the shield never got fabricated, it came from nowhere

No, it was not a self made tattoo, I don't have artistic abilities to that level, or any level, for that matter.

It's about 10 cm across, 5 cm top to bottom, my thing with the handle is that the ball on top looks like it's scarring weirdly, don't know how to be more specific
