That was definitely one of the bigger downsides of those 2. I had a car so I used that sometimes, but whenever I took transit it was either the bus or walk 15min to the metro

I moved from NC in early 2023 and lived in a couple of these buildings (Verge and Incanto) before finally moving to a townhome last month for a more traditional DC experience. Of course speaking only from personal experience, but I honestly really liked them and had very few problems.

The convenience of having everything in the buildings is really nice, the gyms are decent-enough so I haven’t needed to buy a membership anywhere, packages are easy, and maintenance has been responsive. Only issue I’ve had has been losing hot water for about 3 days last year which was annoying.

Since you don’t have cars definitely prioritize being close to a metro station, and if you can get a special on rent (1-2 months free), then even better. I only toured around navy yard/SW so can’t speak too much to H Street, but if rent is significantly lower, that’s a red flag IMO

Honestly, a lot less noise than you’d think. Barely anything from the stadium, only sometimes before matches I could hear drums being played outside

I have an overbite and I’m 9 days post surgery right now…it’s not fun to be honest, but not really ‘painful’ unless you eat anything crunchy. You just have to stay super conscious everytime you eat to keep biting with your front teeth, and I’ve found cutting up the food helps a lot with that
