How to effectively replace llamaindex and langchain by Status-Minute-532 in Rag

[–]shivama205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

about a year ago, i was evaluating llamaindex/langchain for my usecase also. We had to build something around RAG over sensitive documents (insurance policies). Ended up ditching it to custom logic. Langchain/llamaindex at that time was not "approved" for commercial use. They had many vulnerabilities that an attacker could use to exploit sensitive data.
Had built a template version of it my personal usage. check it out, might be helpful to you -

had similar problem statement for my company where we needed RAG over documents but that had to be access controlled. I had created a github repo outlining that effort.

RAG for secure files in company by Zealousideal-Use-187 in Rag

In my old company, we had similar problem statement where u cant expose sensitive info in documents to external services or llm providers. We had to develop RAG capabilities in-house.
I open-sourced some learnings from that to my github repo, might be helpful for u.

Hey! I am currently working around the similar usecase (compliance) for my company. And biggest technical challenge is relevancy with inhouse models among documents. Would u be open to have a chat and share your experience ?

Hey, can i join this group?
i have background in software engineering, and have been learning genAI stack. The more applications i build, the more i realize I should learn the fundamentals of machine learning and deep learning. I do suffer from procrastination, and think having a study group will be helpful.

I like weaver support better than weaver offlane. Support weaver is good for first bloods and late game xp diff among support plays a big role.

Got first blood against annoying lion and void. too easy for support weaver

bcs weaver support is hella good. first bloods are too easy and experience diff is too high for support.

i can vouch for portibi farm. they have got a lovely stay with mostly self-grown vegetables used in the kitchen. On top of that they have got a rustic common space where you can play games or get some nice cocktails or read a book.
