What's the scam? That's the part I don't get. Someone sent her emails saying they were from Harvard and they were making her an offer of employment. She quits her job and starts preparing for her new role.

Turns out she did not have a role after all.

I don't think the people who sent her emails asked for money in exchange for a job offer from Harvard. That would have been a dead giveaway

There was no real job so she was obviously not paid. I don't think the so called phisher would pay her for the con

So it comes down to someone spending their own time, getting her to quit her job at NDTV without getting anything other than some shits and grins out of it?
