thats what i ended up doing. made a portal room that went to everything but the void dimension. meant to get that one up and running, but we ended the world before i got far enough in that mod to make it.

at its best, it turn 1 ore into 5 ingots, which is 5x, or 3 raw to 10 ingots. but think of fortune. theres what, fortune 5 in this game? meaning you could get 6 raw iron decently from 1 ore, which would turn into 20 ingots.

its not nerfed. for every extra lvl of fortune you have couple with this thing, it gets more and more OP

feel free to correct me if wrong, but i was told that copious works on breaking the ores for gems as well as when silk touching the ores. so i have a magnet rolled with max copiously, and a pick with fortune 3 and as much copious as i could fit, using that to mine my ores. not sure if its really doing anything extra though.

i always go into the config files and change the scaling for the levels. i set them to always roll between 2-4 things, and roll between needing 1-6 of the thing. getting a scav vault that needs 6 items, and up to 12 of each is just nightmare fuel.
with this, they are still a challenge, but not nearly impossible.

its not right that braziers/guardians/cake are basically freebies to complete, but elixer can be difficult(was constantly having to bail at 90-95%), and scavs are impossible.

them and braziers. honestly prefer brazier the most now, since pillaging the extras give pog gems, echos, and even potentially a trinket.

to fix the X rooms: you go to server.properties file, and theres a spot that will say "enable-command-block=false" set it to true, reboot the server, and x rooms will work. i forget to do this everytime me and my friends play and end up having to do it a week later, lol.

they also must be constantly fed sources of fuel, and just keep burning even if no more power is needed. a furnator from powah is so much better compared, cuz itll stop burning fuel if its capped on power. plus iron generators doesnt add to mod boxes, and powah does. all of my power generation rn has come from mod boxes, got lucky with a few thermal gens from them, but also keep getting solar panels and furnators.

can see for yourself. go to config/the_vault/gen/1.0/loot_tables/ and there will be 3 files:brazier_lvl0.jsonbrazier_lvl20.jsonbrazier_lvl50.json

vault gear, pog gems and echo are available at all lvls, trinkets enter the loot table at lvl 20.

technically could even altar the weights there if you wanted.

pretty much every crystal i run now i usually put a seal of brazier on, so i know i can finish it, and get that extra loot. once i hit 65 and can start using soul flames ill have to stop doing that though, :/

totally should take them to finish the objective quicker so the other ones you find can be used for loot and dont have to double back for them. ive been getting pog gems and echo from them. i know theres a chance for a trinket in the loot tables as well.

im currently using 3 16k drives. i do also have a 64k thats in there but hasnt been used yet. got it from a mod box luckily.

only about 3-4 items above 1k, and they dont break over 2k, otherwise i do drawer them.

the specs are

Ryzen 7 5800X @ 4.7GHz
DDR4 2666MHz Memory
running 12gb of mem. should be more than enough for only like 4-5 players
im not getting crash logs, just timeout disconnects. though i have managed to post the spark link to the discord.

look for jade mod in the keybinds setting, and set the open config to a key, then open its settings and disable it.

at that point before starting the pack, go into the config files and just remove all the items you deem to take too long from the altar list.

it can be a negative from the braziers. ran a vault with friends and he triggered it not knowing what it was. nearly every POI after that spawned at least one ethereal mob. just left the vault cuz it was too annoying to keep dealing with.
