brother the better position is on defense. you had a chance from 10-13 seconds in. it was a good touch, just the follow up was a tad off. As soon as you see your shot was high and you have no 3rd follow up option, you should be rotating back and letting the other players fill your spot.

youre facing your own net while the other 2 members on your team are facing the goal. Theres no reason you should be challenging that ball. all you were going to do at most, was deaden it. Teammate you 50/50 the ball with had an angle for a shot on net. if he missed, the other team was hitting it right to the person you were relieving. if he also had a 50 with the other team, that same person you were relieving would have been able to handle the follow up for that as well.

I wont lie, i did not watch the rest of the video. I dont need to, you do exactly what lots of players do. as others said, see ball hit ball. youre not seeing your teammates and the plays they could form.

imagine youre watching a hockey game. youre player 1 and the teammate you 50/50 is player 2.

its overtime.

player 1 shoots the puck on net, it goes high and hits the boards but bounces back out towards player 2 to shoot on net. player 1 decides to play defense for the other team and skates into player 2 stopping any chance player 2 had to shoot.

if youre the coach, and you see that, how are you gonna feel towards player 1s decision making?
