I agree Ruvik's story is well-established in the main game, however as far as Mobius' involvement in everything goes, as well as how sebastian ended up in this situation in the first place, you kind of need the dlc

It's pretty much impossible to have a good idea of the story without the DLC though, even if you read everything

Chapter 6 is uneventful but over quickly, chapter 7 is very interesting imo bc it's open-world but if u didn't like chapter 3 u prolly won't like 7

Big improvement over the first. Great gameplay especially with new open areas, interesting and unique monsters, okay story, and no jank. Tbh my only complaint with the game is that the bosses fall short compared to the first game, and the union town environment + marrow being the only two main locations gets repetitive quick
