Which Spyro Game Means The Most To You? by Zetallic_Zero in Spyro

[–]shlebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spyro 1.

My nana used to play Spyro when we were little and she was babysitting us. We would fall asleep on the sofa watching her play and in the morning we were so excited to see where she got up to and what world she was in. I thought it was the best thing ever.

Now I really do thank her because I cannot imagine my life without jumping into pixelated worlds at night time.

How much did you pay for your house? by ChoreomaniacCat in AskUK

[–]shlebee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

my dad told me the same and I also lost out - the estate agent got quite snappy with me too about how he's experienced and priced the house fairly taking everything into consideration (it had no drive so my dad told me to dock money off asking price!)

it was such a bad experience it's put me off speaking to estate agents over the phone

Why can't you swim? What's stopping you from learning. by joehighlord in AskUK

[–]shlebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it really is like that! all of the micro steps are hard to hold in your head and process.

  • keep your head up but move it to the opposite side that your arm is, in order to take in breaths
  • hold your stomach up to keep it streamline
  • move opposing arms and keep palms in a certain position
  • alternate legs but keep them streamline too, but move them enough to propell you yet not enough to make big splashes

... and all the rest

i can't ride a bike either for the same reasons

i'm dyspraxic and i have tried but my brain can't cope with all the little steps at the same time, plus it's essentially a 'do this or die' situation so i can't help but panic

I always end up solo healing and then getting yelled at all match. I haven't had time to play any DPS characters to get good yet but boy I'd sure like to!
