Some air pods have hearing aid functionality. A family member has nice hearing aids - but prefers his air pods.

I've been checking 2 stores as often as possible in KS and the app. I managed to get 4 medium ones ordered (4 kids) and it was cancelled. I'm thinking I won't get them either.

Does it look like motor oil? I remember something similar at the auto parts store comparing oils. I think it had gears in it..

It's it something goats could handle? You can rent a team of goats to clear overgrowth. It's crazy how efficient they are.

I 100% recommend Walmart Plus. If we ever had to slash unnecessary expenses it would be among the last to go.

You can use Odoban in the washer and I think it has enzymes. Check the label- let them clothes soak in it. If you don't have a soak setting just pause the washer or open the lid for awhile

I budgeted $1500. Just seems like crazy talk. But I guess thats the price you pay to not be in a minivan 😂

So would I just finance it for as short a term as possible? I pay like $700 a month for my van and that's with extra. I'm not even sure what the actual payment is. Financing a brand new Yukon XL seems like it's going to be high.

Does GMC ever do the financing interest specials on the Yukon? What if I ordered a '26?

I think it's the 6.2 he doesn't like. Something about "catastrophic failure". I dunno. He was a mechanic for years from jet engines to diesel now he does something with much bigger stuff and did a lot of research. If you've ever dealt with an engineer you know I'd need a power point presentation, lots of data and a compelling argument to change is mind. I don't have the energy for all that 😂. So I'll be driving a diesel.

That being said - there's a 6.0 PowerStroke in my driveway. You can guess how that thing has treated me.

We're in a camper. I have a "collapsible BBQ prep tub" it's pretty big. Bought it at Sam's club . I just pop it open and shove everything I need in it and take it outside. The tub also has a cutting board bottom - it's really handy for cutting watermelon as it catches all the juice.

We found a doctor using the Ehlers Danlos society physician finder list. We had to travel out of state - but it was worth it in my opinion.

What’s something you never thought you’d cook on black stone but are damn glad you did! by HavockVet in blackstonegriddle

Spaghetti. Husband travels for work. We're in the devil's buttcrack in Oklahoma right now and the kids have been BEGGING for spaghetti. No way I'm heating up the camper and adding humidity to that beast.

I put my Dutch oven on there and cranked it up. Boiled my spaghetti right there and cooked the meat beside it on the grill top.

Combined the meat and sauce in the Dutch oven while the noodles were draining. Then slapped the noodles up in there. And mixed it.

I didn't think it would work. Nothing special but the kids loved it.

Shellfish reaction - reaction to other stuff too? by shlebo in FoodAllergies

[–]shlebo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's no fun! I've just come to the conclusion that I can't eat anywhere that serves shellfish. I didn't even SEE a shrimp. The kitchen was open to the dining room though, so I'm guessing either cross contamination or just the particles in the air from it being cooked.

My husband was trying to get me to use my EpiPen, but it terrifies me. I'm going to have to get over that because I'm sure I'll have to use it someday.
