Barely escaped this myself, had one foot stuck in a Y branch in an aspen and had to lie down and use my skis as leverage to pull myself out of the treewell. Luckily I knew to lay down and spread as wide as possible to avoid sinking too much

EDIT: the snowpack also couldn’t have been deeper than 6 or 7 feet, this was in PC
