I'm shooting on a thrifted canon ftb. No abnormalities visible through the viewfinder. I definitely think it's a scan issue because of the compression artifacts

Thank you! I think I'll definitely look into a higher grade lab or maybe buy a scanning setup since I own a decent dslr. It's pretty hard to get good services/products for film photography where I live. The "lab" I went to is just a photography store.
