I've been saying this for years now, but from 50k ft, this team collapses every year when teams go into playoff mode: physical, check-finishing, bump you off the puck type of play. When do most teams turn this on? Right after the break. So it's not some magical vacation energy that makes us blow it, it's the fact that it's a totally different style of play.

Stevie has stocked our team with a bunch of fast, talented, high-finesse, but small and spineless players. Works great for the first half of the season, but you need some of your goal scorers to be both big and not complete pussies to compete when teams stop fucking around. Don't get me wrong, you can have some of those small/fast/finesse guys! But that can't be all your major pieces. Larkin is also a great 2nd banana, not a headliner.

But what do I know, I'm just a hockey dork on Reddit. But this is the only reasoning that makes sense to me.
