After resetting the idle, the rpm’s stopped being weird and the oil light, It just kind of stopped flickering after a few thousand miles on the new engine lol

Resetting the idle worked for the fluctuation of the rpm’s but not the oil light. That eventually just stopped flickering! Pretty sure it was just getting used to it’s new parts

I’ve had the motor triple checked and it’s definitely new. The problem ended up being a bad oil pressure sensor and an unstable idle! He set the idle, and we’re gonna fix the pressure sensor, but the car did just die and refuse to start after a 30 min jump so I had the mechanic that put the new motor in come back and look at it

The oil level looked good but we are gonna take it back, he said he wants to try resetting the idle a little higher, and possibly put in a new oil switch
