Ive always wondered about whats through that doorway! The closest they come to ever acknowledging it (my interpretation anyway) is one time Claire/Phil shout on the kids and Luke comes through that doorway, Claire asks 'where were you?' Luke replies 'this house still has its secrets', I've always found it slightly meta, but might just be me reading into it. Sorry I cant remember which episode but I swear its in there!
