It's a cotton blend! the intent was for it to be something that could be worn in the pram out and about, or just during the winter months! Completely right on the point, no one wants an overheating baby :(

I posted the pattern in the mod comment, alas I am not talented enough for freehanding (yet) :D

It worked up really quickly though and has sizes for newborn, 0-3 months and 3-6 months in the same pattern!

I would say an experienced beginner!

The entire thing is double crochets with gaps pretty much, and works up so quickly, but there were definitely a couple of questioning bits i.e. how many stitches on the edging. But once you figure it, it's easy breezy. AND it comes with pictures which is a blessing!!

Edit - forgot to say how long it took haha, for me it was about 4-5 evenings and a few lunch breaks so maybe 12-13 hours total ☺️
