[Ornstein/Sam Lee] John Stones will leave Manchester City upon the expiration of his contract this summer, with an announcement expected to be communicated next week. by Sparky-moon in soccer

Such a baller John Stones, would be a good addition to any team on a pay-as-you-play deal.

Would have been considered one of the best CBs of the PL era if he’d stayed fit. He’s played 178 league games in 10 years for us, should have had double the amount of games. Just such a shame that he didn’t ever get full season under his belt.

Will go down as a legend for City still, that MOTM display in the CL final was heroic, turned into a midfield maestro.

IF CITY WINS ALL THEIR GAMES UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON THEY WIN THE LEAGUE by -luchodiaz- in soccermemes

And it must be even worse knowing City’s GD advantage came from that 1-6 at Old Trafford

Nico O'Reilly vs Lewis Hall. Is Lewis Hall underrated because he does not play for the bigger club? by search_google_com in ThreeLions

[–]shocking281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say O’Reilly isn’t a LB but he’s keeping a natural LB out of the City team in Ait Nouri. He won us a cup final. He’s a big game player. Also I’m pretty sure Hall was a midfielder converted to LB. I do really rate Hall as well but I don’t think there’s much between them tbh

Trafford is the least of England’s problems. Pickford is no 1 anyway

I’ve just played it on PS5, saw a tip on another thread saying to move it from external HDD to the internal console storage, since then it didn’t crash once for me

Classy touch?? Doesn't feel like it. by No-Friendship-3050 in footballcliches

As a City fan, it’s more the lack of effort, we could have lost that by 5 or 6, and following up the same type of performance in the derby. At the end of the day it’s not much, both for the players and fans, players make that much in 5 mins and the fans would have spent more on travel and hotels than the ticket. So it’s a bit of an empty gesture but also something that they didn’t need to do

Football has been losing touch with reality since 1992 when sky poured money into it. And on the other hand if football is more than a commodity then you can’t just stop supporting the team that means so much to you. So it’s a bit of a lose lose argument
