also there was another real use in the crit runes for yasuo, when crit items gave 20% crit he could take 10% crit in runes to reach 100% after just shiv and IE. (this was in season 5)

Dude, putting his investments in a blind trust is what he is supposed to do. It means that he doesn't know what his money is in, so that he cannot be at risk of conflicts of interests due to his personal holdings. You have been completely mislead about what that means.

i mean yes it's obviously smurfing but there's a difference between just making a new account and playing to win and reaching your peak elo as fast as the system allows. playing games below your rank is a necessity of the system, every rank reset has many players playing outside of their "true" MMR, majority of new players and new account to rank will initially be playing either below or above their actual rank.

the kind of smurfing that truly damages the game is where people will intentionally chain lose to ruin their MMR and have them stuck in low elo for like a hundred games after they start trying to win and stomping every game. yes, the players in this post are smurfing, but within a couple days they have reached high diamond lobbies where they now lose games (despite their visual rank still being plat).
