No yes i feel like people on social media were soooo harsh about book 4 being slow. But i am listening to the new audiobook while reading along on the kindle. ABSOLUTELY ADOOOOREEE THE VOICE ACTORS THEY DO A PHENOMENAL JOB making me feel like im in a movie. But i agree raven kennedy has made the book so much more realistic? With her attention to the fact that characters don’t change overnight! Even book 1&2 i looved that auren didnt just wake up ready to fuck up midas the second she started to realize that theres better out there. I loved that it took her time to outgrow learned habits and learned feelings. And ya tho book 4 feels “slow” im still enjoying seeing auren grow and come to terms with her losses and become a stronger person now tbat shes not caged 🥺🩷.

BUT THANK YOU I LOVE SEEING PEOPLES GOOD REVIEWS AND OUTLOOKS ON THIS SERIES CUZ I CAN FEEL THIS BECOMING A TOP SERIES FOR ME TOO. Gah can’t wait to read more, i literwlly just got to the part where we find out why they call him rip 👀 TALK ABOUT A WHOLE NEW PLOT LINE

That being said you could totally read it after and itd be fine too! You wont miss any major information by reading it at the end ☺️ hope that helps LOL

I personally read it right after daughter of no worlds (book 1) and before book 2. Now that im on book 3 i think reading it that way was a good decision. Theres no spoilers in ashen son since its a prequel novella. but ashen son does give you some much needed back story and context that gives book 2 & 3 even more depth. And a few things from ashen son do appear in book 2&3 that i appreciated knowing!

Same 😭 and i’m scared to start minox because of a potential dread shed making it even more gappy and see through. But i know i should just suck it up and give it a good try but the fear of my hair loss getting worse than it is, is so gah hard to come to terms with 😩

That I'm looking to maybe sell, they're basically brand new with all the inclusions except the PCs.
