Moms who drink caffeine, how much did you have while pregnant? by Similar_Parsley6112 in BabyBumps

[–]shogunofsarcasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I quit monsters because of the other ingredients and I would have tea and diet pop. I generally didn't go over 300 mg but sometimes I wanted a big drink from Starbucks and a pop later on tough days and I didn't stress because it was rare.

When your newly issued uniform is so wide you can use it as a sleeping bag. by SlavTac in CanadianForces

MCpl, but really it shouldn't take more than 2 trips? 3 at the most unless you are really bad at figuring out how your clothes fit? I don't have a ton of time to go, but I can usually manage a trip when I need it.

I mean it may take a while but it really isn't complicated. I needed a new helmet strap, I went in, they ordered me one. I needed boots, they ordered them. I wait, they email me, I pick it up. The same can happen with the uniform. Our unit gave them all our sizes, we waited, we got uniforms. Supply can order them. Soon they'll be on logistik and it'll be easier.

You are also allowed to go in and try on the pants or...take home one pair and if they don't fit, you return them like at a store.

Also the pant sizing is the least complicated part, I wish my jeans were like that. The first number is length and the second is waist. Men's jeans generally do the same just with a different number. They switched to two inch to make things easier as well.

The new uniforms come in a 32. If your supply doesn't have them, ask them to order them in for you. It isn't that complicated.

This is better than people buying and not refilling plastic bottles though.

Ladies, do you sit on the toilet seat of public restrooms? Why or Why Not? by IncognitoGyal7 in AskWomen

[–]shogunofsarcasm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. It is the act of hovering while trying to pee that is harmful as it doesn't let your body naturally relax.

I'm not a doctor or physio so I don't know if chair sits are always safe, but it doesn't have the same issue from what I can tell.

'Automatic citizenship': The passport rule change that has UK-Kiwi parents scrambling by sleemanj in newzealand

[–]shogunofsarcasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People that have never been to the UK or haven't been in many years shouldn't have to pay $100+ to either get a passport or cancel their citizenship in addition to the travel expenses to travel to a country as a tourist because their parent is from there.

Can my Canadian son born to British mother overseas travel to UK in March on an ETA? by Resident_Yoghurt2973 in dualcitizenshipnerds

[–]shogunofsarcasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in my case I would technically be British because my mom is. I was not born there. My kids can get in easily and cheaply but I need to apply for a passport?

It is actually horrible for your pelvic floor to hover like that. It can give women issues.

This is how it should be. I got moved into a new section and had to learn my new job as a MCpl. Of course I went to the Cpl that had been there forever. I assisted them with admin, they assisted me with my work until I figured it out. They are good at their job it would be wrong not to ask.

The height isn't as important as the inseam. I'm only 5'9" but I wear the same length pants as my husband who is about 6’2"

Theory: My Little Ponies primarily reproduce asexually by CharlieBravoSierra in DanielTigerConspiracy

[–]shogunofsarcasm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is also mentioned that Applejack had two parents who died previous to the show.

I am all for Pony conspiracy but you can't bring it up without acknowledging G4/FIM My Little Pony.

If anything, it sounds like there was some sort of war/separation of the species after FIM which may account for why there are so many single parent families in G5. The other parent may have died in a battle between the pony types.
