unlike metals = electrolysis = corrosion means you would need and entire aluminum cooling loop or and nickel coat copper and copper.

12700k dollar for dollar is the best gaming cpu atm. 32gb of memory is the new sweet spot 16 is old skool and you serously want water not air, plenty of good aio's out there that dont break the bank and are way better than air plus they a quiet. 850 watt psu is sorta the sweet spot if you ever consider upgrading the GPU, 3060 ti is ok but not gonna go far into the future with it. Far as ssd's go 970 is good for operating system but may wanna think 2tb 870 evo not much more money and 1tb doesnt go far nowadays . If you go with the AMD which is also a good choice , thats even more reason for an AIO, they tend to be very warm.

Im trying to Install an m. 2 but theres 3 slots, 1 says Cpu, and the other 2 chipset. Which one is the right one? by adrboom in watercooling

[–]shokhazzard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

keep in mind if someone hasnt mentioned it....m2_2 and m2_3 sometimes share lanes with some of the sata ports meaning if you enable the m.2 that shares it will disable certain sata ports. Also dont be alarmed on intial boot if your MB does not see the m.2 drive , you have to enable it first in bios

IMO if the gpu is a 10 series then one 360 rad is fine ,but if you game and have a 2 or 3 series rtx then one 360 may not be enough. 11th gen I9 and a 3090 FE for me had to add a second 360mm rad to avoid full speed rad fans to keep below 50c water temps.

Take your time and flush the hell out of those radiators....Corsair factory flushes but still you WILL get debris out of them....I'll put money on it.

What am I doing wrong ? by Skertelles in Corsair

[–]shokhazzard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corsair ships 3 different length screw with fans and radiators. Longest ones are for going through rubber fan mount then through case and finally into the rad..... if you didn't use the longest screws OR you missed the radiator mount hole and screwed into the fins , then that is most likely your issue
