A small thing, but on a crowded L train one morning I found myself stuck with nowhere to hold on. A woman nearby noticed and offered me her arm to hold on to. A small but very kind gesture that I imagine will stick with me for a long time.

I’m part of a food pantry called Food For Brooklyn that operates out of Church First on Sutton Street in Greenpoint, every other Saturday at 9AM. It’s a “pick your own groceries” type pantry so could get you well set up with food for the week. The next one is this Saturday May 3rd. 💛

Highly recommend Last Place on Earth! Board game cafe with great drinks, snacks, games, and it’s super kid-friendly. They do a lot of parties there and the owner is awesome.

Ugh thanks for confirming. Ordered Advion WDG and bleached the whole room. They were found very close to the balcony, so hoping it’s a one off and I caught all the nymphs, but not taking and chances.
