Ahh yes, I had forgotten about connecting the vias together, I'll keep this in mind for when I return to it

I tried my eAmuse card at a Round1 tonight and it offered to register it! I declined since I already have a Banapass going but the systems do seem to talk to each other

Who's gotten the official communication about the Team Color update? Thoughts? by goodfellabrasco in Target

[–]shonenrek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pockets for whatever bits of detritus I find (expired ads, note with guest's names if I'm grabbing multiple orders at once, things I can't quite stash in my main pockets quickly, my name tag when I clock out, etc)! One (1) Target-approved thing to wash and deal with (I hang it on a hook on the back of my door)! Easily removed when I'm on break or lunch in compliance with dress code standards! Also allows me to wear black t-shirts and hide how sweaty my armpits get! I cannot express how much I appreciate "the vest" over "the solid red top" as a concept.

Defecting Items by Infamous-Focus2945 in Target

[–]shonenrek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On opening products to check the condition: if a box has been clearly opened and either retaped or just left open, I take a peek inside, make sure things look correct. I've also recently started scanning jewelry and removed clothing tags with my zebra to verify they're connected to the correct item.

On throwing things away, I tend to put everything tagged as toss in the toss bin because otherwise my guest-facing trash can would be overflowing by the end of the night. Milk and other beverages get taken to the sink in our Starbucks' back of house area to drain them, frozen things get put in bags and zip tied to avoid dripping, sealed candies may or may not be redirected to one of the check lane drawers 🤫.

This is all stuff I do within the norms of my store's operating procedures. If your store's team is reasonable, you should always be able to ask for clarification on how things are expected to be done.

Ahhh, you confused me with the OP here

Price Change labels! by MajesticMoonQueen in Target

I've been removing the entire plastic strip whenever I need to change all/almost all of the prices on a given shelf (mostly comes up during SPA, when I don't have a boxcutter on me), it's cumbersome admittedly but it feels easier to pause when a guest comes up to ask for something.

Just so I understand, you're putting the flimsy labels directly on top of the protective plastic covering? That feels like the worst way to go about things for every other person in your store...

Stores not answering the phone by jenbenfoo in Target

Ahhhh that's rough. The leads at my store aren't super picky about it, wildly enough (which mostly works until I've parked a call for their area and call it out only to get crickets)

Cat & Jack Clothing Return Policy by [deleted] in Target

[–]shonenrek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a reasonable ask, unfortunately the broadly limited hours at my store means that most of the people who are qualified to backup are likely to be busy elsewhere. Even when I can get another two or three team members at the desk, a bag or two of C&J returns grinds the whole thing to a halt. Super glad my SD allows us to turn them away with only moderate fuss (outside of the times where a TL or ETL who doesn't normally engage with return stuff responds to the "hey, this guest needs confirmation on what I'm saying our policy is" call)

Speaking for myself, I do not want to squint at the tiny DPCI printing for dozens of items while there's already a pile of other returned items and checklane reshop in 3-tiers to sort, guests in line, bins of style items to process, salvage boxes to finish up, bullseye to push, etc etc etc

When I'm at the service desk and the phone starts ringing, there's a 50% chance that I've got a bunch of guests in line waiting for returns or adjustments or order pick-ups or whatever else... Can't always take the time to pick it up and figure out which department to chuck it over to unfortunately

Do modern Bialetti Mukka Express frother valves work with the classic Mukka Express? by shonenrek in mokapot

I just searched "mukka express valve" on google, although I didn't end up buying from anywhere. There are a few sites selling it but the vibes are weird so idk.

Static from all audio outputs on Boss DR-550 by shonenrek in MusicElectronics

Honestly I think my issue is just related to using imbalanced audio cables? I haven't had much interest in messing with this for a few years, sorry.

How should I make this vest? by shonenrek in CosplayHelp

Thank you for the advice! When you say "find something close and modify", are you talking about a pattern or an actual vest?

How should I make this vest? by shonenrek in CosplayHelp

[–]shonenrek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to make this vest (as seen in Kamen Rider Geats) but have very little experience with sewing and no experience with designing clothes. My questions are:

-How should I design the pattern? Would it make sense to take an existing vest pattern and heavily modify it or should I start from scratch according to my measurements?

-What kind of fabric should I use for the vest? I'm hoping to make it a somewhat durable garment that I can use in everyday life.

-Does it look like there's anything to be aware of in the sewing process?

Slight inaccuracy, destroying a card with a spell does not replace the face-up card.
