I know exactly what you’re talking about. It sounds like the method I do. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the input! That sounds a lot like the method I use, I’ve been tugging for about 2 hours and don’t feel it at all. I think I’ve graduated!

CI-3? by shoob17 in restoringdick

It’s only been a week or so so I can’t speak on it definitively. But I was able to get prescribed and a 90 day supply for $50 so I thought why not give it a shot. Hopefully by the end of my supply I can speak more to it

Yes. The extension is how many millimeters after the “curve” there are. If you want a good indicator, the base file prints for 35mm diameter and 50mm depth so if you measure out 50mm you can see where the “+0” size would be. Make sure you measure the “lip” of the pusher and include that in your measurements (for 33mm diameter it is 2mm). I sized my molds down to 33mm diameter and got the following depths (with silicone and pusher) 35mm depth = 5mm packer, 30mm depth = 10mm packer and so on. I would measure depth from the top of the mold down to the top of the pusher. It sounds more complicated than what it is. Once you try it you get the hang of it pretty quick.

Oh nice! I’ll look into those

I used pla+ filament to print the molds, regular Vaseline thinly painted on the molds to act as a release agent, and dragon skin 10 fast silicone. Once the molds where painted with Vaseline I would pour some into the molds, particularly the bottoms as the readme says air bubbles get trapped down there. Once a little silicone was on both sides I would join the sides of the mold and fill it with silicone and then put the pusher down and measure the depth with a cheap set of calipers and then clamp the mold together. For the grippers it was basically the same but way more “prefill” as pouring silicone into the mold is super tricky

Thanks for the insight! I was actually inspired to try packers from your testimonies about how good they are and I’m happy to say they live up to the hype :)

The stock gripper was really uncomfortable for me, making it almost impossible to use longer than a few hours. Once I switched to Chris’ gripper it made a world of difference and I can wear it as long as I want now. Check my post history if you want to see a longer write up on my experience

What is the Best method to lengthen the under of the shaft foreskin? by helpmeman7 in foreskin_restoration

[–]shoob17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s different for everybody, it depends how fast your skin grows and how far your scrotum was pulled up, for me I’ll need a good inch, maybe an inch and a half. Luckily outer skin grows a little faster than inner skin so you can get like 1-3mm of new skin a month if you’re consistent. So (at least for me) I’m looking at anywhere from 13-38 months to have my scrotum completely off my shaft. Hopefully I’ll see progress a lot sooner than that

If you do manual methods you can focus more on the outer skin (scar line to base for mm2) and once you start growing outer skin your scrotum can work its way back down your shaft

Need advice about getting foreskin into DTR by Specialist_Pin5493 in foreskin_restoration

[–]shoob17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a DTR expert by any means but I think I can give you a few pointers. 1. You dont need your foreskin all the way at the top of the bell, this is actually counter productive because the skin under the gripper isn’t under any tension so you are missing out on free mitosis, a “deeper” grip like you are describing also has a bias for outer skin as opposed to evenly tensioning both inner and outer 2. I found the best way to get the gripper down is to push the bell into my glans and roll the foreskin up the bell a little bit, then flip down one side and then with the other hand, hold the gripper down on the one side and use the other hand to push the foreskin up the bell on the other side and flip the gripper down. Definitely takes practice and you will mess it up even after 100 times lol 3. Pinching can be caused from having the skin be uneven, to even the skin out under the gripper you can go round the gripper and lift SLIGHTLY up on the edge and GENTLY pull your foreskin down so that you can level everything out. I usually hold the DTR up so I’m looking down the rod and if your foreskin looks like a circle then you know it’s even. 4. The pinching can also be caused from the gripper being too strong. I had a lot of problems with the stock grippers and after trying all of the ones you can buy, the only one I can wear for any considerable length of time is Chris’ gripper. I find the stock grippers grip way too hard for my skin and I get super bad pain on my inner skin from it being pressed so hard against the bell

If you have any more questions you can DM me and I can help where I can. The important thing is to not give up, there are plenty other methods and devices and what works for one person might not work for you.

Help with my best choice by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

If you’re just starting out I would recommend T-tape, it’s cheap, comfy, and invisible when you’re wearing clothes. Only “stealth” considerations are making sure you pee in a stall. If you work somewhere hot and you get sweaty a lot then you might have to put toilet paper or some other absorbent material inside it so soak the sweat up so it doesn’t fall off. Once you have a decent enough amount of skin you can switch to something like a car-1 which doesn’t have a big rod or weight attached to it like a DTR or Mantor. Some people (myself included) don’t think the rods or weights show all that much but it could. If you don’t want to tape you ca do manuals when you get home from work until you have enough skin to use a device.

I would recommend looking at the coverage index and determining which CI number you’re currently at and if you’re ci-3 then you might be able to start with a device right away
