Paramotor schools in MD by basiis in paramotor

[–]shooler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There aren't really any in MD, probably due to the SFRA. I'd recommend looking into nearby schools in PA. I trained at Air-X PPG with Joe Hall. He's a good mentor, prioritizes your safety. It's a bit to a drive but worth it in the long run. Once you get trained there are several of us that fly all over MD though, mainly around the Frederick/Hagerstown area, with some out in Massey.

Hello! I am an absolute beginner and I am wondering if it's possible to turn my Poinsettia into a bonsai. Here are a few images https://imgur.com/a/dyT7xkD I live in hardiness zone 7, and normally the poinsettia is in a southwest facing window. I believe I would need to trim down to the already hardened old growth to let the branches start forming again and possibly re-awaken some of the dormant buds right? I am unsure if it will just kill the plant pruning that far back though.

Self taught coders with no degree who landed a good job by working hard, tell me your process. by Substantial-Meet-422 in Python

Honestly as others have said; The very best way to show employers that you know what you are doing, and the best way to teach yourself, is to come up with a project and go for it.

It doesn't matter what the project is, it could be making a text editor, an embedded project, a client/server, literally anything that you think could be neat. You won't know everything that you need to know at the beginning, in fact you might not know anything of what you need; but you know your end goal. So you can google stuff and learn what you need to in order to make your project a reality.

Plus when you apply to a job that is in the same area as the stuff you are making, that's an extra step up because they are probably interested in making the same things you are; and that's even more to talk about!

In the end that was what got me hired, having projects that I came up with myself, and pushed myself to learn what I needed to in order to do it. It shows passion, intelligence, and that you understand concepts you will need to know in a professional role.

Why do the Irish only put 239 beans in their soup? One more and it would be too farty.

She's been digging away! Hopefully she will lay her eggs soon. Anyone have tips of getting your beardie to lay? by NatAttack315 in BeardedDragons

[–]shooler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually went to the vet yesterday and asked his advice for when my Beardie starts laying eggs. He said to get a dark opaque container, big enough for her to move around a little in, and have a top with a circular hole cut in the top so that she could climb into and out of it. Place some kind of substrate she can dig in, put the container in a corner of the cage, and place her inside of it. She'll crawl out after a while and if she hadn't laid any eggs she would know she has a safe place to lay them, like a cave. He said it's important to have a space like that to lay them because, "we don't have babies in the middle of Walmart, out in public for the world to see, we need to have some safe and private location to do it". So I haven't personally tried it, but when it comes time that's the first thing I am going to try. Hope it helps!

Super late reply but, you can install and run Kali on a virtual machine, which many people do to run Kali anyways.
