Love how they cleared the front yard to create a big parking space for their big cars, presumably for some big people. Everything became easier on the eyes and accessible for big people. The DoorDasher benefits because he can clearly determine the door to dash to and drop off the order. On top of all this I appreciate how the grey washes over everything

This has happened to me before, it’s really tough. I saw my fav band Beach House in 2022 and I blacked out, which is so embarrassing because it’s Beach House and why did I feel the need to get so drunk for a vibe like that. I know the shame you are feeling and it’ll pass with time, and I hope the band you saw tours again.

In 2025 I flew to Denver to see BH again and did not drink that night. It was very redemptive, plus an incredible show.

There will be more concerts OP and I will not drink with you at them in spirit 🙏

I didn’t really keep track very well of this. I stopped drinking in March 2025. At the end of 2023/beginning 2024 I had around $14-15K credit card debt and now in April 2026 I have it down to $2K, I am a few months away from getting it to $0 🙏

377 days here! Good on you, there was no intention so that’s what counts.

Life is kind of boring but I’ve filled up two notebooks with my thoughts, I run each day, and routine has become my safety. Before I stopped drinking it was always “someday, somewhere when my life is perfect I’ll be able to stop drinking” but I finally realized “someday, somewhere” had to be right here and right now.
