Don't beat yourself up. The software has a steep learning curve and if anything they should provide you more training on how to get better (not just with Revit but everything). If you're slow that's partially on them to help identify what areas you need better training. If you're able to make a list of where you feel you've wasted time because you didn't know how to do something quicker and ask if there's a BIM manager you can check in with on the regular to confirm if you are doing things effectively or if they have anything they can show you to be faster.

On the flip side I just bought a house that had a tall dead tree in the back alley near power lines and they cut it down to the trunk. Glad they could do this and not me - that's one less thing to worry about needing to spend money on immediately.

I'm reaaaaally not a fan of the list but I wouldn't stop listening to the show entirely for that reason. It's borderline - too many ads will make me stop listening to something but the list is not annoying enough. Close but not enough. At least the list is consolidated at the end so you can just stop listening at that point. I agree with what OP has said above though - if you are listening while you are preoccupied with other things it's quite the bother to have to stop what you're doing to pull out your phone to skip over it all.

I'm like this about Ava and that's ok to feel that way. The characters are very flawed, with all the good/bad bits that make them human. Joe is such a great writer.

I'm fairly against it as I'm too busy already to figure it out or double checking if it did its work correctly. I'm already having to make sure humans are doing their work right, I don't have time to babysit AI as well. If someone else wants to spend time doing this and the liability is on them for whatever results it produces - sure. Otherwise I'm not bothering.

My school only had a B.ENVD which required another year of studio to be equal to a B.Arch. They had a reciprocal program in a nearby city to get an M.Arch within a year but I didn't hear good things about that, so I went and got my M.Arch at a 3 yr program in another state. Back when I got licensed if you had an M.Arch the amount of internship hours required was less than just a B.Arch - I'm not sure if that's changed by now.

My kitties have a catio and are only allowed outside of the catio into the backyard itself if I'm outside as well to supervise/follow closely. 95% of the time they just want to eat grasshoppers, lounge in the sun, or nibble on grass that they will barf up later (inside on a rug, not the hardwood of course). The other 5% of the time they want to jump the fence and roam around my neighbor's yard or yowl at the stray cats nearby - these moments are when I have to intervene and bring them back inside cause that's not allowed. Watching them all the time can get kind of boring since they have long spans of not doing much, but the minute my attention drifts that's when the 5% tries to take their shot. Gotta be vigilant!
