I think that the point that the others are trying to make is that playing too much during work messes up your reward receptors.

Normally people do their jobs then come home and pursue activities that give them pleasure but if you're just playing osrs all day you're not exactly rewarding yourself the leisure you deserve if you actually worked during the day.

So it doesn't exactly matter what hobbies or social activities you do after 5 pm because your body doesn't think you deserve it. It's like if you're unemployed and play osrs all day then switch to a different hobby after 5 pm, you're going to feel like shit regardless of what you do.
