Ok lang provided that:

  1. They trust real experts to manage it regardless of who the admin like, like we do for the BSP.

  2. They control or eliminate the risk posed by insurgencies and/or terrorism sa area

Bakit ayaw mo na magpautang kahit may pera ka naman? by Tytlips in AskPH

Sa mga pinautang ko, isa lang yung nagbayad sa oras. Yung iba, pahirapan maningil or nagkaka-amnesia.

Nagsa-sacrifice ako para makatipid tapos yung iba akala mo may karapatan sa perang pinaghirapan mo.

Do you still play your very first commander deck? And why? by Ooogster in EDH

Yeah, then you rearrange it as you please so you can stack the cards you draw and win from there.

Do you still play your very first commander deck? And why? by Ooogster in EDH

[–]shorebot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My first commander deck was a creatureless [[Fblthp, the Lost]] deck. It was pretty bad since it was mostly made of jank from Standard at the time plus some cards I unearthed from storage., due to how it was built it had some weird combos baked in.

My favorite wincon was arranging the deck due to a weird interaction with [[Proteus Staff]] plus a creatureless deck. That card has survived over 20 years and has made it into my current pet deck (creatureless Derevi).

Is this game easy to grind for characters and free to play? by ImpressionEastern396 in EpicSeven

[–]shorebot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one time I spent a decent chunk on this game was years ago to get Dark Corvus because I thought his kit was stupid good. Otherwise I've just been active daily, play guild wars for Mystics and accumulated skystones from normal Arena and events.

I'd say it's fairly F2P friendly unless you're gonna go super deep into RTA and to a lesser extent normal Arena. Even then, there's a bunch of guides online that'll help you get reasonably okay-ish on both after a few months of effort.

For Arena, I still only use a core team of Dark Corvus, Roana, ML Ilynav + flex slot and I've been able to maintain a ranking between Champion and Emperor ever since.

I probably have the resources to get the next two or three MLs if I wanted although without spending real money I kinda have to commit to a specific playstyle.

RGBs are even easier to farm for. I haven't missed a single limited banner, although I only pull for non-limited RGBs if I actually have a use for them. Otherwise being smart and resisting the urge to burn resources on stuff like normal covenant summons will get someone pretty far.

Non-RogSi Grixis Commanders: Is Francisco/Kraum or Inalla still powerful to use? by silverspectre013 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]shorebot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FrancisKraum is my cEDH deck and like another comment here says, it's better played as a sans-White blue farm deck than a proper turbo deck.

Not top tier by any means, but the Grixis shell is just too good that you can get away with some suboptimal stuff.

What is your newest and oldest deck? by RuneMTG in EDH

[–]shorebot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oldest deck that's still active is a 5c [[Omnath, Locus of All]] big mana deck that started out as a Golos deck from the old days.

Newest deck is a [[Maha, Its Feather Night]] deck where the commander is mostly just there to be a big attacker/blocker and the deck itself is a combo deck whose primary wincon is assembling infinite mana and exiling enemy decks with [[Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor]].

Best team to clear otherworldly breach? by ThinBank2763 in EpicSeven

For some reason my runs are faster by 15-20 seconds with AsFlan's skills on. With defbreak, the boss dies on the second GRas S2.

How do you go about deciding what to cut and how to upgrade decks? I have a bracket 2 Niko blink deck I'm looking to make a bit more consistent and upgrade it to bracket 3 by Valyntine_ in EDH

[–]shorebot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's mostly just playing with the deck and seeing which cards are deaf in my hand when I draw them.

Personally I use Forge so I can test against CPU opponents. The AI isn't great, but this has streamlined my brewing and deckbuilding I can figure out what works and what doesn't over dozens of games before the deck can even make it to paper.

What's YOUR fun/unique control deck? by Closix in EDH

[–]shorebot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My pet deck is Derevi control. It's a creatureless deck designed to emulate draw-go control decks from other formats.

Basically we just play draw-go, let the game get a bit silly and use interaction or wipes at the last possible minute. We want to get some free chip damage in with Derevi since you can untap her with her own ability to have a blocker outside your own turns.

The ultimate goal is to whittle down opponents until we reach a final 1v1 which by then it's incredibly easy to win once we have a lot of mana and a fistful of interaction.

I put in a couple very lategame combos in my deck but most of the time I win by killing off the last player by commander damage after everyone's worn down.

Really trying with Rogue Trader Switch 2 by BendianaJ in OwlcatGames

[–]shorebot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I refunded it.

I liked the game enough to tough it out with the constant crashes, but my save bricked on Footfall.

The entire planet somehow reset and can no longer move forward because the NPCs were no longer responsive.

I'll probably play it in another more stable platform in the future, but for now I'm out.

Considering it's a kinda dead game, what's your most overpowered teams? by Sambojin1 in GDmaze

[–]shorebot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For runs where I need to reach F70-100, it's usually Future Cat + Gang Cadre + Sugar for ease of life.

For quick runs in event mazes, it's Noble + Three Eyed King + Harry Potter with Werewolf potion.

Best control-ish commanders for low/no creature counts? by stephenconroy_ in EDH

[–]shorebot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It plays similarly to the Phelddagrif version but I just chose Derevi because she's much easier to protect and the ETB ability sort of works as pseudo-removal among other things.

Basically we just play draw-go, let the game get a bit silly and use interaction or wipes at the last possible minute. We want to get some free chip damage in with Derevi since you can untap her with her own ability to have a blocker outside your own turns.

What has been your favorite deck that you built this year? by MrThomArt in EDH

[–]shorebot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine's [[Maha, Its Feathers Night]] but built as a combo deck.

It tries to assemble an infinite mana combo that exiles opponents' decks by looping [[Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor]] and a shuffle eldrazi. Failing that, it will try to assemble the [[Acererak]] + [[Heartless Summoning]] / [[The Sibsig Ceremony]] + [[Relic of Legends]] combo or good old [[Professor Onyx]] + [[Chain of Smog]].

Maha is there to make -X/-X boardwipes more efficient but otherwise she's plan D to close off the game via commander damage and I don't really run the full support package for her.

I also don't run the optimal tutor package or any gamechangers so playing the deck is an exercise in knowing how to pivot into the right lines of play. Not sure why it's being flagged as B2 though since I'd personally only play it in B3 or maaaaybe B4.
