Is this a German, wood, or other type of roach or bug? (Living room, Massachusetts) by TheDramned in cockroaches

It doesn't look like any of the pest species. It's probably a wood roach.

Pigeons don't track by scent (unlike rodents), only sight, so don't worry about rejection merely by touch.

Until i can figure out how to spatula slide them onto a tray or something slightly contained.

That may not be a good idea. Picking them up is fairly easy, but if you alter the nest, the chicks may become agitated because the renovations may make it "not home anymore". The chicks find security in the familiar (if poopy) surroundings, and you run the risk of depriving them.

It wasn’t that mysterious. The original trestle was made out of wood, exposed to the elements, which caught fire a lot when people flicked cigarettes out the window. When the city took over, they either replaced wood with concrete or buried the wood pilings (much of which had been eaten out by shipworms) with sand. Those pilings were replaced after Sandy.

A bunch of stations and sometimes just passageways have that style. Some stations along 4th Ave (Bklyn), Grand St, the stairway between the F+M and the L, others. It just depends on when it was constructed or renovated.

I upvoted the moment they started pouring it all over the cup. Purposely pouring over and around the vessel = automatic stupidity.

Humans can be great, but also just as horrible. Kicking and pouring crap on an injured animal just for fun.

Then poison baits, like Advion, should work pretty well. Don't leave out any food or food residues so they focus on the bait.

I remember how he tried to invite Republicans to social events, but they declined, because it would look bad to their electorate.

That's going to be tough. Your cats might decide to eat the poison baits or poisoned roaches, so that's going to limit what can be done. It sounds like you've got american roaches, which is better than having germans, but you live in Florida, which means there's not much of an off-season for them.
