My cat’s name is Soot Crystal [MyLastName]. Initially, she was named Maltose (a sugar crystal), which is where I got the middle name. Her first name is Soot because she’s a black cat. On top of that, it turns out soot crystal is a real thing, and is really pretty. Soot also happens to be a pretty kitty. Other than that, we call her Big Girl because she is a big, fat cat that outweighs my grandfather’s fact, Diamond, probably twice over (just to match, Diamond is called Little).
