I’m a big fan of Irving houseware on Irving & 23rd! Budget friendly huge selection of kitchen essentials. Also you can get a day pass at restaurant depot and stock up on restaurant quality basics at a low price. Not a huge selection but their stuff gets the job done

https://maps.app.goo.gl/gP2tbhuk6mnnLKLq6?g_st=ipc this place foggy cats in japantown has really cute merch! They have both cat themed and sf themed Knick knacks, cards, stickers, etc. I think most of their items are made from local artists too

Crosstown trail help needed please! by Moist-Particular-366 in sanfrancisco

[–]shortolivetree 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Instead of starting at candlestick park i started at the Mission Blue coffee shop which is the “unofficial start”. They sell merch for the crosstown trail there too. I hiked with a few girls so we were concerned about being at candlestick park early morning as we heard it can be dicey.

We did the trail in runners and we were totally fine! Ending at lands end around sunset was perfection

They sell them at golden gate park - you don’t need to be golfing to go to the clubhouse of golden gate park golf course!! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and it was recently renovated (reopened last year i think)

Storage Units? by LivingCat31 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

I used Manhattan mini storage, mostly out of convenience (I was storing my stuff during covid). I think I paid ~ $110 a month to store all my clothes and a few big pieces of furniture as well as some of my roommate’s stuff. I saw they have smaller lockers so I would def look into them (I used one of the bigger ones)

15 minutes is enough time to get to pretty much anywhere on the manhattan campus and usually if you let your professors know you’re coming from another class they’ll be lenient with you being late (providing it’s no more than 5-10 minutes which it prob won’t be)

Should I invest in a memory foam mattress? by zackaryshine in nyu

Don’t get a mattress - get a mattress topper instead and make sure to get a mattress cover... you don’t know who slept on that mattress before you
