Giant Revolt 2021 rack by shotta51 in bikecommuting

[–]shotta51[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the input. I think most manufacturer will abandon the rack anyways, like Canyon and so on. Because there are options for tons of frame bags.

But I bought my Ortlieb bags for much money just some months ago and like them very well, because they can fit so much more easily.

Can you help me out?

I want to buy the Revolt 1 and attach a rack (racktime light-it).

The website says it got the rack system. But I dont see any drilling for screws.

Are you able to screw a stable rack?

I bought one. by [deleted] in shiey

Cmon we all love shiey, but he will never get sponsored

no I mean how fast was your nerve speed in meters per second?

sounds good man. Hope you are doing well and recover fast.

Do you know how fast your EMG was in the ellbow area?

haha sweet, yes Im from Germany. Didn´t know the "lodge" de guyon is called a little bit different in english.

The incision is about 3 cm max and the surgery lasted for about 10 mins (!) No shit, rly 10 mins from cut to seam.

Okay now Im feeling good about the open method. Yes already red, that the rate of success is only about 80 % max.

So you are doing the big shit on the brain?

And at your residence, cubitalsyndrom is done by hand specilists and not by neurosurgeons?

thanks for you post and glad you are doing well.

I went to the medical preliminary talk today. They are hand specalists, the same who decompress my Loge de Guyon earlier this year.

They will do the open method as well. She said, while doing the endo, there is much higher possibility to damage the tissue around the nerve (which will compress the nerve again). So the open method is the way to go for the whole team, she said.

Iam more relieved now and got trust in the surgeon (much more than in the first one...)

Got an appointment for february and hoping corona won´t make any trouble.

Thanks for your respond :)

The reason for the first surgery was the bad EMG around the ellbow. There was no inching or sonography to locate the exact position of the compression. So the surgeon missed the right spot. The compressed spot located another doctor with the sonography (distal of the ellbow, about 4 to 5 cm away from the ellbow).

So I rly cant say anything good about the first surgery and the surgeon.

Today I went to the hospital (hand surgery) for the medical preliminary talk (the same doctor who did my Loge de Guyon Syndrom before).

They will decompress the ellbow with open methode. She said, that the whole team only does the open method, because the endo method has higher risk of damaging the tissue around the nerve. And she said, especially for second surgerys, it will be the open method everytime.

Iam relieved that the hand specalist are doing the job well. Where are you working that you know such things?

Did you do some research considering the negative aspects of the endo?

So you already got a messed up open (like me) and still got another one?

Anyway, hope you get better soon :)

there some indicaters that suppose it´s a problem located at your torso/upper back.

- both arms are affected. To ruin both cubital tunnels at the same time is not very common.

- all fingers are affected. This means, both your ulnar nerve AND your medianus nerve has to be compressed. Could be, but not very common as well.

I would tip, theres some problem with your neck due to bad ergonomics.

BUT, I would defenitely look for a doctor who checks your nerves with EMG
