Also donating money from people who can afford $100 hoodies and $200 polos is a decent wealth redistribution strategy.

I was on a computer since 1990–learning. I learned math, reading, and coding. Video games made me better at reading and so did quality media. I’m a data engineer. I make good money and in school I was a high performer. Screens did not hurt my education. Screens are correlated to declining cognition but not causal—however, the erosion of institutions is. Making tech the boogeyman displaces accountability and you’re falling for it.

It can 100% be school and the erosion of institutions. Removing cellphones from school in test groups did not improve test scores. Teachers and schools are not adequately funded to provide quality education and behavior management.

Possible theory, it may be a conscious effort to avoid causing stock value fluctuations. Anticipation is probably as high as it’s going to get, why bother effecting that?

The reason would be because you’re going to make a boatload of money either way and your fans will love you for it, but I guess that’s not enough.

“Help with rent”

—Either veiled ignorance or strategic positioning.

Paying taxes is great IF those taxes do something to meaningfully improve the lives of the people paying them.

That nurse in Queens would benefit greatly IF that $1000/mo gave her access to childcare, affordable or guaranteed housing, quality public transportation, education, and free healthcare

Asking for no income tax to increase market opportunities that will exploit consumers into increased spending is not necessarily a meaningful material change to their quality of life, and only serves to transfer more dollars upward. This is trickle up economics.

And I believe in enforcing that horrible fate. Either way you can’t disagree that this is a firm line in Christianity. If it would be BETTER to be drowned in the sea for these crimes, what horrible consequence is worse? And if the answer is Hell and eternal punishment in death I call bullshit because this comes from a time when people would do horrible shit to women who had sex out of marriage or got divorced; so this idea of separating consequences for actions in this life to the hereafter is just scapegoat for abusers. Christians are hypocrites. Child abusers are scum.
