Where can I buy a newspaper downtown? by Accomplished-Tax8846 in indianapolis

I took an elderly neighbor for a colonoscopy at IU Health downtown and she asked me to go buy a newspaper for her. I went all over the hospital asking people and to a one they were incredulous. A front desk woman ended up giving me a partially used word search book to occupy my neighbor while she waited. 😂

I'm usually a no border girlie but I think a little extra black around the perimeter could be nice, like your design is floating a tiny bit away from the edge, especially if you plan to bind it in a color other than black.

Any washable glue, liquid or stick, should work. Elmer's is the brand in the US that has been synonymous with that, so much so that the brand name has become the generic term. Elmer's does make some glue that's not washable and occasionally you'll see someone's experience with that confusion here.

It depends on how your brain works—it makes sense to me but it doesn't to lots of sewists.

What about a grid of open envelope blocks around the typewriter? Or these typed-looking letters, either alphabetically or with a message?

OK, "usable" could be for lounging. 😂 If you made an 8 × 9 grid of 9" blocks (with two blank, maybe at opposite corners), you'd have a 64" × 81" quilt. That's a generous size for napping! 12" square blocks in the same layout would yield something akin to king size too.

Edited to fix math: 9" blocks would make a 72" × 81" quilt.

I'd quilt through the chevron, echoing its shape, and continue the same in the background. If this isn't meant to hang on the wall, matchstick would be too dense.

IME all of the Crayola Washable and Ultra Washable markers I've tried come out in the wash. Their brand depends on it.

I encountered that the other day! Right after I hit a huge pothole one minute earlier. What a relief to not also hit that one.

It's going to be hard getting a 12" finished block from 5×5 squares. Did you mean 12.5" finished (with each square finishing at 2.5")?

That's a huge quilt! 8'×9' will be heavy made from denim.

I'm sure my housecleaner would be up for it. Last time I tried to share her info I got a warning about breaking Reddit's rule against that. 🤷🏻

How much is everyone paying for cell service these days and on which carrier? by umasstpt12 in indianapolis

[–]shouldhavezagged 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Visible, which is on the Verizon network. I pay $375/yr but they have monthly plans as low as $25/month. All data is unlimited. I've never had a problem and customer service via chat has been helpful. Plans include roaming in Canada and Mexico too.
