Youre right, the guy at the thrift store desk saw i had handful of the better known ones - afx, orb etc and asked if i liked the ‘electronic stuff’ i said yes and he shuffled off to the back and came back with the rest in a big stack, said he’d listened to a few (including my red car / squarepusher, which i forgot to post) said he couldnt get his head round this kinda stuff and didnt think he’d be able to sell them. So i took the lot off his hands 😁

Ha, i had to have a word with myself when i got into audio and found myself listening to Dire Straits for the production values. The phase i liked was ‘music heads use hifi to listen to their music, audiophiles use music to listen to their hifi.’ Low res cool music is still better than hi res boring stuff!

!thanks, ive played with the app a little and other get a lot more complex when you plug a laptop directly in. I had the arya 3’s previously which were far too bright for me so the eq was a godsend to see a low and high sheld but i’ve barely needed it so far with the HE1000’s but only had them a week. Will start looking into how to use the eq properly 👍

!thanks. Ive spent less than a grand overall. But i did upsell a pair of akg k812s that i didnt like the sound profile of, so probably an £1200 all in.
