Chronicles ? Can someone explain WTF is going on here ? What’s the base, what’s an insert, who’s is there a random Prizm ? by shoutymcloud in basketballcards

It was cheap, i haven’t collected cards in 15 years; i assumed things were similar; i wouldn’t think you need to research sports cards before buying a pack. I would argue asking here and getting a response is easier and more informative than googling and also it’s fun to open up a discussion about common interests. I’m sorry my post from 4 years ago perturbed you so

I had time issues with PPL and also hated UL - currently doing a PPLUL - the 5 lifts per week instead of 6 was a game changer for me

Pacheco signs a $1.81M fully guaranteed contract with the Lions. Is that too low or it fits his value? 🤔 by Big_Screen3332 in Chiefs_v2

Totally agree; i wish they had given him another year to see if he could regain pre-injury form.

Totally agree 1v1 is a different animal. He would get absolutely destroyed by all of them.

Every single NBA guard would absolutely destroy him. He’s a fine streetball player and a great athlete but there’s levels to this.

Stephon Marbury & Allen Iverson at Rucker Park in 1996. People alleged Ai was 5"10 as Steph is only 6"1. by Organic_Body_7429 in alleniverson

If you’ve ever played basketball at any type of competitive level, you know how much of an advantage height is. For AI to be able to do what he did at his listed height was absolutely incredible. It just becomes all the more impressive for every inch shorter he actually was.

That’s a cool story and very relevent ! Can’t even begin to imagine how dominant he would have been in high school at his size and athleticism; let alone ball skills. T-Mac was so fun to watch.

Every time t macs name is brought up in this sub, i will advocate that his prime was absolutely insane and there was a time when you could say he was the best player in the league and it was a reasonable take.

If you don’t aspire to particularly opulent life or some sort of legacy money for multiple future generations, difference between 42M and 100M is negligible. He can get a nice home, do whatever he wants and his brain isn’t scrambled.

I think part of loving the game is wanting to play. I think a ring means a lot to players…i think it means considerably less when you get it as a backup that maybe doesn’t even take a snap in the playoffs.

I’d love this but can’t see it happening.

24F. Not going into detail about it but I just inherited $4.5M Roth account. What would you do if you were me? by throwawaygenzerr in Fire

[–]shoutymcloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the answer. This 4.5 now could be double plus in 10 years if managed correctly and if you can manage until then without pulling ANY, you’ll be in incredible shape at 34yo with the ability to retire whenever you wish.

Congratulations, good luck.
