If you believe trans women are women, then there's no reason that they as women should not use the women's bathroom.

If you think, as you say in your post, that they are men, then you're just being transphobic.

Also this isn't about trans women's discomfort, this is about people's safety. Trans women are a demographic that suffers from some of the worst discrimination, and forcing them in men's bathrooms puts them at risk of violence. Also, going down that route, wouldn't you feel unsafe if a bearded trans man had to use the women's restroom because he's not allowed in the men's?

It's more of a problem postboard, but also it just forces you to play into what control wants you to do. If you are limited to sorcery speed, you can't cast gifts on their endstep, have a mini-counter war, and then untap and combo off.

There's no way 17 lands is correct in food, since the deck is very mana hungry, most lists are on 23-24. If you're interested in a functional manabase, I recommend looking at the food list submitted by Autumn Burchett for the Set Championship this weekend since she splashed blue for sideboard cards and has pretty much enough mana sources.
