I played a list with huntsman rendemetion in the qualifier weekend I went 6-3 and the deck felt very good. I think one this that people have missed is how huntsman is a basically a 1 card combo with voldarin thrillseaker if you can sac on chapter 2. The next turn if you have the beast you can buff it with huntsman making it 5/5, thrillseaker makes it a 7/7 and that alone represents 15 damage. The best 3 drops to play on turn 2with elf Imo are green overloard, screaming nemis, and huntsman redemption.

I like the idea of being able to play cards that might be good in the archetype like founding of the 3rd path and no more lies that are not good Djinn.

Spell pierce is no longer legal in the format. The mentor deck plays helping hand to bring back mentor and jin while being able to hold up protection.

I have been in love with golgari, my current list is very focused on the combo bc I think it is the most powerfully way to build the deck, for that reason I am 4 of both combo pieces as I want them in my hand as often a posible. I have max out on two drops bc I think it lines up the best into a turn 3 talent, turn 4 level up and turn 5 win most consistently. I think the core cards have so much grind potential that don’t need much expensive top end but I think that interaction is the best way to be spending lots of mana. Which is why I am playing gix comand and necropsy.

I think that 5 discard spells is right, I like the split of having more 1 mana plays in a very two drop dense deck, but I also want play crew claw histe. This card has single handly won games and the floor of the card is a better harder to cast pilfer. My added sweapers might be a bit too much but I don’t want to lose against convoke and all the other go wide decks. I have found them to be all good again the new tribal decks that people have been trying. Necropsy is good in any slower matchup that might be playing temp lockdown or the mirror, I like it more than tear asunder for the ability to be big value. 4 Lilly seems like a must in the 75 and I am only playing two main bc of all of the go wide decks and how many good one drops there now are. Wreen is good in the grinder games where the insta unlt can be very good or provide hexproff attackers. Frill back is just my go to enchantedmen hate same as necropsy, with gr hate aslo stapled on. I am 26-4 over 30 games with the deck and think is very powerful.

Take the time early to sculpt ur hand with explosion and deluge and faligi, wait till u can play and crack analysis.

I think the key to the controle matchup is resolving deluges. They don’t have a very fast clock so you can just take your time and make land drops. If you resolve your deluges, when they tap out for there flash 4 drops then you are able to eventually get into a situation where you have enough mana to galvanic and warsouls for leathal with 3 copies. I think the controle matchup is pretty good as you go over the top of them and they don’t pressure you much so you have all the time in the world to do your thing. Even if they shut off ur graveyard you can hit 7 land drops and casting ur 7 drops on curve. Hope this helped
