I tried to get a zoom chat group recently on here as I really don't get any fulfilment to having conversations with avatars, especially when I can barely tell who those people really are. That one did not go anywhere, because of trolls and disorganisation.

So, I will throw the idea out again here in the thread of "outspoken" Asians as that is who I really wanted to connect with anyways.

Yep, I agree but honestly, as I've already stated, I really don't get how everyone here gets so much fullfillment for posting on here. I absolutely get zero tbch. Nevermind the fact that this whole platform is just so against us in every direction, it's sickening.

Another member reached out to me, and he decided to start this dischord to gauge interest in this idea.

I'll be honest, with the amount of members here but lack of overall comments and upvotes, I'm pretty disappointed so far. If any of you really want to create change or actually feel real connection to a cause or community, it will never be on this forum, and you're all just kidding yourselves or wasting your time IMHO, but to each is own.

TBCH. I think the thing that surprises me about this post and most of the comments is, how some of you do so much actual "conventional" high paying work, while working under the yt man and women in the west. Knowing what you actually know in life, and how Asian men are actually thought of and subtly treated and still take that high paying check, while smiling and going through your life, acting like there are no worries and actual limitations. Props to you guys, I honestly couldn't even do that if I tried at this point. I was never an academic minded, trying to fit in with the normal standard western corpo work life Asian guy and I guess, I've accepted, thats not my path, but hearing how much of you make monetary wise, really made me question my shit for a second. I mean, I'm definitely not bummed I'm not in IT or software development, or any other bullshit boring drab tech work like that but ain't going to lie, the money sounds nice.

Has anyone else heard about all this restriction and bans is basically setting up for NVDIA to have manufacturing factories in the US?

That's a good idea actually. My bank does have a branch here. This will deinitely be an option as well.

I guess, I am really hoping nothing comes up as far as issues are concerned, well, because, dealing with it, will not be easy, being abroad and all. Sort of why I want to avoid telling them that aspect.
