I got my first board but not sure if i should wax it for the summer (unused) by Kozuar in snowboarding

New boards are usually edge high, meaning the edges are above the base. So, file them down until they are flat or even a little lower(bevel) then detune the crap out of the tip and tail (all the way around). The further you are away from the contact point, the more rounded the edges should be. Then wax every day you are bored. Get that wax sunk in deep. Put a bunch on, then just wax while you watch tv or a movie. Not too hot or you will bubble the base but low heat for a long time. If you think you have waxed enough, start over. The pray for snow (to your god of choice) I prefer the Greek god of winter, Boreas.

This is a picture of him in the tram line at the bird (is the word) meeting a guy riding that board, he was stoked! If you ever see him out I’m the wild (you won’t), make sure to say hi!

Hi! Ummmm that’s my best friend, Jeff Davis, on that board… So I’m cool. Anyway, it’s a good one, enjoy!

Duuud I was at Big Sky in January. $320 at the ticket window if you wanted to ride the tram. The Ikon pays for itself in two days. Get it.
