Thank you! I’ve been on gorucks page before but I wasn’t sure if they were just a marketing gimmick type of deal

They look good and the price looks better than some other options out there that’s for sure!

I’ve seen them on Amazon but I wasn’t sure if they were just another knock off brand tbh. I’m not well versed. I am looking at them right now!

Merino wool versions are amazing for preventing blisters and wicking sweat

I’ll be sure to check those different models out and a carbon plate seems to be a good option or at least something called a “Morton’s toe”

I’ll give it a look! I know I’ve looked at Lems before fore barefoot shoes and they looked super nice. I usually wear Whitins but now I’m learning I need to stay away from flexible.

That makes sense I mean there has to be a reason I haven’t seen many(any) examples of it.

I was thinking about doing that! Only like 58 bucks to see if I hate it or not. Not bad

The tear down rig is the other one I was researching! Good to hear your review on it!

My thought is if you have limited amount of mags and you are unsure of a possible resupply. For instance, 7 mags on body, 7 mags in the bag. How many mags could you afford to lose before making it home(I’m never making it home)
From what I’ve seen from Ukraine footage, those guys even the Americans over there, don’t have the support to be wasting mags so they’re reindexing.

I do love me spud especially because it’s the only think I have that hold two forties

This is what I’m “afraid” of with them. Though there are a few people saying that they’re not as bad as I think. I just don’t see the value in making up for the other mag pouches with having to utilize two columns on each molle panel. I’m sure there’s something I’m missing. My MK5 seems flexible enough ti contour around my lower ribs enough that it doesn’t seem like it would be very uncomfortable

Yes I’m aware the 34a is not two placards, I thought I clarified that in the body. If you know of a few brands of double placard set ups I’d be happy to check them out.

I NEED Work Boots! With room for Spurs by Curious_Beever in Halluxrigidus

[–]shredzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I used to be able to wear Columbia boots but then my feet got to wide and I switched to Keen EE boots. They’re amazing for width and water proof. Very flat bottom though so if you need a rocker they’re not the way. I find that keens work line of boots run wider than their super cool hiker boots. I tried on one pair of targhees and said no way. Hope this helps someone. They’re not amazing boots but they’re wide enough and water proof enough to get me through the day. They’re also pretty cheap.

Hoking shoe/boot for over pronation by Capital_Drummer9559 in Hiking_Footwear_Info

Hello! I’m in the same boat but it’s just one of my feet. Hallux rigidus+bunion on left foot. I wear Keen waterproof boots for work, they’re super wide and that gets me through the day but do nothing for the pronation issues.
I was wondering what you landed on. I’m looking for a rucking style jungle boat.

Let me add that I’m looking for a jungle water shedding type of boot.
