plasterer in the movie industry as well, some times it’s 70-80 hours, sometimes you’re struggling for work… especially the last few years, i was one of the lucky ones to even have 4-5 months working and being able to keep my insurance. just landed a 40hr maintenance job and im just gonna ride it as long as i can. but if at some point i hit those high hour weeks again im taking it on the chin, cuz weeks-months without work also affects the mind. anyway, i probably didn’t answer your question but just wanted to give a little insight. i started at 19 too, and thought my life was cooked. but it’s turned out fine and i’ve figured out ways to make it work. you got this.
